My sis and I have recently started tanks-salt--she added some LR about 2 weeks ago that has some barnacles on it--since then she has very small little white spots on her tank glass and growing on her other LR--was wondering if these are "baby barnacles"? she had read about the barnacles and people had said that the barnacles would not last very long in a tank environment and now she seems to have them all over her tank--any ideas?

sounds like little feather dusters to me... harmless and beneficial.

I do have a barnacle that came on a crab shell... it's been alive in my tank for almost a year now... pretty rad to see it twirling out of its little barnacle shell.
