little starfish? good or bad?

I found one of these in my sump the other day. No bigger then a dime. Little pink starfish. Are they good or bad? should i be worried?

i just wasnt sure if it would hurt my corals. i will try and find it and take a pic! haha but yea it looks just like what you get when you google asterina

 

I don't believe they will hurt your corals but just eat the coraline off your rocks.

 

There are hundreds(maybe even tousands) of different kinds of Asterina Stars.I.D.ing them can be difficult. I would just keep an eye on your corals as some eat Coraline and some eat corals.

 

well i was just worried. my dendro has a small brown spot looked like something took a bite out of it. But the coral is doing great. Has already doubled in size in a few weeks since ive had it. but it may have been there and i just noticed will keep an eye on it.
