little white bugs

    OK your probably sick of all my questions but today i was looking at my tank real close and i see these very tine white almost microscopic bugs or some thing moving on my glass. should i worry? there like salt water fleas or something. about the size of a pin head even smaller but the move fast. :-/

    what are they? they look like they are feeding on the algae.

    They are probably copapods

    Yep, they are probably copepods. Not only are they harmless, their presence means you have a healthy tank. You should also know they eat primarily filimentous algae and some small fish east them. (mandarin dragonets eat almost nothing but copepods and similar species) Get used to seeing lots of strange critters in your tank, it's part of the fun of the hobby....
