I have these very tiny white dots, they seem to be the consistency of a hard algae like coralline, but they are super tiny. Also see some on rock. Another thing I just noticed is that there are black dots all around in my sand...are those pods? I don't seem them move....With three fish and an urchin, my viewing is a little too detailed, but it's all I got :)

    How old is your tank?
Sounds like little featherdusters to me, I have them EVERYWHERE.

Do they look like the ones on the glass?

I have a bunch on my back wall. I now have hundreds of baby snails, they grow slow

I had something like that years ago. It almost looked like very tiny barnacles. Never did figure out exactly what they were, but they never did any harm so I didn't worry about it too much. To this day, there are still some on the inside wall of my protein skimmer.
