I have had a small explosion of little white spirals (for lasck of a better term) The have attached themselves to the glass and rock of my tank and are quite hard to scrape off (but can be done) The look to have a very small sifter(like a feather duster on the end) Does anyone know what these are and should i be removing them??(i think i should) I can see that they cam from a cluster on one of my live rocks. Any help will be appriciated

They are micro dusters and are harmless. They are a sign of good water quality.

I have a lot of those too, Spirorbis(?). Harmless little filter feeders, that can get a bit annoying.

Are you using any liquid feeding supplements?
If you are, just cut down on the planktonic feedings and their number would begin to decrease.
