OK, So i figured out my right side of the tank liverock combo..here it is..The rocks look dry because of my Flash.

And here will be the left side. All I need is to find the right rock to tie the two together.

I really like the structure of that LR, very nice! I have a "U shaped" formation, started out first with the "wall of rock" look. Here's a pic of my current scape, I haven't touched it in months which is a great thing as I'm also soooo picky, best of luck, post pics when you're done!

Love your rock! Thats kind of my idea have the outside formation taller with a low tie together rock .99% of this rock is haitian live rock, and i'm very happy with it!

What’s my best option so that I don’t have to bury 3" of this rock in the sand.. Should I put this on egg crates or just put a rock under the points that touch the bottom?

    thank you

a combo...Zip ties to a PVC Pipe...Some nylon rods and some acrylic rods. The Nylon rods are nice you just screw a hole put the rod in and put two nylon nuts on the ends.

Thx for the kind words, I'm glad I was able to get my structure how I wanted it early on, I could honestly sit there for weeks adjusting yknow.

I did lay eggcrate on the bare bottom of my tank and then the rock and sand went in after. I made sure that the rock basework was slotted in the crate slots and then went from there. Eggcrate is a 50/50 thing, a lot use it, a lot don't. I like the added security of it and will most likely always use it in any of my tanks.

You can get it at any home depot cheap under "light diffuser" in case you didn't know.

Ah, I will look into that...I plan to use a pvc sheet for the big rocks as a support. one of my rocks is 28lbs.
