I am wondering if I have enough LR in my tank, it's a 250L so 66 gallons, and I only have about 40-45lbs of LR in there, I was just reading on another thread that I need 1.75lbs/gallon which would be 115 lbs .... I am far from that ! Should I add more LR, and more importantely, WHEN should I add it (transferred everything from a 15 gallon tank to this one, used Bio-Spira and Seachem Prime, some people tell me I need to cycle some say it's already cycled ...), I already have my corals, anemone and a fish in there and this tank has been setup for a week, I have 0 phosphate, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5ppm nitrate, 460 calcium, 1400 magnesium, 8.2 pH, 8.5 dKH, 1.024 specific gravity

pic of the tank for reference:

Yes you will eventually want to put more LR in. as for when... I would give several weeks to let the tank settle in. It may not cycle again. did you use the same sand as was in your 15 or is it all new. if it is the same it may cycle again do to begin all mixed up again. I am not a pro by any means but I have read alot. hope this helps.

ok cool, so I don't have to worry about adding more LR now which is good :)
I only used about 5lbs of the sand from the old tank, I did reuse all the LR and everything else that was in there from it too (I wish I had kept the bio filters, I think that would have helped the new bio filter)
I can just add LR as is later right, or is there a special process ?

as with all LR you would need to cure it first but otherwise no you should be fine to add more, but I wouldn't for all of it at once either, but again I would wait several weeks before doing so. better to be safe.

alright sounds good, well my LFS sells cured LR, not sure if that means it's cured for MY tank or just that it's wet lol, but anyway at the price it's at, I'd be adding it 10lbs at a time, most likely twice a month, I guess I need to add 70 more lbs to get the 1.75 to 1 ratio ! man my tank will be full of rock LOL

lol but it will look great. you could also save yourself some time and money if you go with dry base rock. it is cheaper and there isnt anything on it to die off. granted it doesnt looks a pretty but it will in time. I have learned from reading on 3reef, Saltwater Tanks are a hobby of patients.

Even if you buy cured rock at your LFS, you will cycle.
    Get base rock

You will probably get a better deal on the internet looking for base rock than through your LFS. reefcleaners has some really good prices on it. everything I have read about them has been good so look into them also. if you plan on going with LR I would go slow. I would only do 10lbs a month. in no time you will have all you need.
