    Hi
    Had my LR in the tank now for 3 weeks, 1 or 2 pieces are starting to have growth on them green stalks & what looks like grass-not hair algae, is this normal and if it is i presume all i do is cut it back when it gets bad???

    Most likely some macro algae, yes a good thing.

    Is it curly cue looking? If its grassy looking could be a few other things as well

    Macro Algae is this like a bigger kind of algae then just normal green or hair algae?

    it is a bit curly cue in some places, is this what you fellas grow in your refugiums to take out phosphates etc etc????

    yep, its nice to be able to harvast some and put in your fuge. Macro is what you want, micro is what you dont!
