    you could always drill and use dowel rods... then you wont ahve issues with the glue possibly coming undone and it can easily be broken down if need be

    ok tthanks everyone, now whats the name of this magic glue and since i have a 34 gallon tank i dont have much room to work with in the tank so i may just take all of it out and do it that way

    no magic just good old fashion super glue. and the epoxy is called plumbers putty. or maybe you would recognize it under the name "mighty putty"
