In a 72g bow front you should have a minimum of 120 pounds of live rock. As far as the deal, Internet buys on LR are sketchy at best but sometimes there are good deals. Just be weary, personally I think $280 is alot

I disagree that you need 120 lbs... it's very subjective to what his intentions are with the tank.

Have you thought about using dry rock instead? MUCH cheaper, still needs to be cured, but no hitch hikers.

120 lbs in a 75? I dunno about that. Depending on what rock u get its gunna be different. My 65 I could only fit 45lbs and its pretty full. But my rock is really porous. That rock looks good but its a lot of money. Dry rock will look like that in a few months anyways.

I think 100+ lbs of rock is going to be alot but again it all depends on the density of the rock.

i will always use dry rock when setting up a new tank...and seed it with rock from my tank or a friends tank... that rock looks good, but its straight up being taken from the ocean, im sure there are some good hitchikers in there but there is no telling what bad thinngs could be there...plus when u buy dry rock, u get way way more rock for the money...
