    Hello,
    I was just wondering how long you should wait to add invertebrates-clean up crew, after i have added my live rock to my tank?

    generally best to add once your cycle is done britt. and welcome to 3reef

    After your tank cycles is when you can add your cuc.

    what if you were to add a few snails before cycle was complete. may die from lack of algae? or mess up cycle

    Thank you very much! there is algae starting in the tank. So maybe adding a snail or two might be okay?:)

    I wouldn't --> chances are it'll die.
    But the best knowledge is knowledge gained from your own mistakes. That being said it's just my2c.

    Might not be a good idea.an amonia spike will most likely kill your inverts..better to wait till your cycle is complete..one thing to learn is never be in a rush when in this hobby..btw welcome to 3reef..we look forward to some pics soon.
