Dry old coral skeletons around here are 3.99 a pound. If I got 50 lbs of marco rock in a few months I could start adding corals?

not to dog on marco rocks, but people here have had problems with them. I would recommend ReefCleaners.org | Clean Up Crews and Macro Algae - Home. He has some of the nicest base rock i have seen. And before you add ANYTHING to that tank, you need to complete a FULL cycle with the sand, rock and salt water in the tank. Then you can start adding corals and fish.
