I just ordered 80 lbs of CaribSea's South Seas rock for my 125g. Its like the Bulk Reef Supplies' Reef Saver rock. I got to see some in person and play with it, it stacks super nice and solid. Im probably going to need some more but we will see how far it goes.

In my opinion, dry rock is the only way to go. I bought 40 lbs of live rock for my 40g and had crazy bristle worms. Im talking some that are almost 6 inches! I don't stick my hands in the tank anymore unless I have good rubber gloves on. But with dry rock, you can choose what "hitch hikers" you have in your tank.

I plan to seed my base rock with some Copepods and scrape some coraline off old snail shells from the 40g. If you dont have an old shell ask your LFS (if you have one) and they would probably give ya one.

Hey everyone thanks for the advice I went ahead with dry rock and upgrade my tank to a 90 gal so I bought 180 lbs of BRS reef saver. Can't wait to start

I got the pukani and I really like it. Im not sure how porous the reef saver is but 65 lbs of pukani was just the right amount for my 125 lol lets see some pics when it gets there.

And yes, getting a small amount of LR, especially some with corralline on it works great.

That's what I did with my 125 and after about 10 months, eveything is corralline now! I started with all clean, dry base and added two small pieces of corralline/live rock.
    Much cheaper that way also.

I like the new design. Once your put corals in, I think you could arrange them to give the aquarium a lot of depth with that aquascape. Nice job!

Jake thank you very much. It wasn't easy but I am very happy with the way it came out. You and I have the same idea with the corals. I had planned on using them to give it more depth perception.

any fiji premium tend to be pretty nice, tukani is my favorite but tends to be very brittle, both look great.
