Why would you want to put LR in a Quarantine tank?

well it's not actually a quarantine tank it's just an another tank that use to keep inverts in when i'm gonna take them back or there doing harm to my corals. Its just an extra tank. I'm gonna put in maybe some fish and inverts. but for now i wanna cure my pre cured LR that i ordered. It would be easier to cure it in there because it already has a filter and a heater. I've had it for about 3 weeks and i dont think its cycled yet.

If i put my LR in there will it die because my tanks not fully cycled. It's pre-cured.

Ok, but what makes you think it hasn't cycled yet, is it because the crab and brittle star are still alive?
