I recently put all of my live sand into my tank. After putting it in it became cloudy. I waited a few days and it all settled but when it settled their was a fine layer or tiny dust sitting on top of the sand. Do i leave it like this or what is the best way to deal with this?

I just left it when I put my sand in. It eventually went away.

Do make sure you don't have direct current onto your sand or it will never settle. Yes, it will go away. I had the same problem. I put some filter material in my sump/refuge and it worked like a charm. For any idea look at my 90gal thread. Lots of pics.. Best of luck.

Strong mechanical filtration will help as with using Kent's Pro Clean. It is a concentration of high tech polymers that flocculate the small particles, algae etc. into larger components that are more readilly removed from your water.
