I started a 30g a couple months ago. Right now all I have is a scooter blenny and scissortail goby/dartfish (plus 5 snails and an emerald crab). I'm planning on adding a clown and midas blenny for sure. Might try a 6 line last or yellow banded possum wrasse. One shrimp for sure (blood red)--possibly with a cleaner. You can't put too much in a 30g.

well at least you can put a few things in there; stocking seems pretty good to me, mr_z. I wouldn't get a scooter blenny though; they eat only live foods called copepods

Saltwater isn't like freshwater, you're not going to have snail population booms in saltwater.

Not at all. Most wish will eat the eggs. If you look at my picture with the midas blenny, you will see little white spots. Those are snail eggs. The fish will clean those up about every few days. If they were to hatch, my engineer goby will take care of them. When I had them all through out my freshwater tank, I put a gold fish in it. I can't remember the name of it, but it was like a black moorn, but gold. Same size different color. Anyway, that fish tore those baby snails up. I only had the initial one that I started out with.
