Ok, this isn't a life or death issue yet but it could turn out to be if not handled correctly. I recently orders some reef cleaner inverts om live aquaria and they will be delivered tomorrow before or by 10:30 according to fedex.I had it all worked out to where I will be home to take care of them but an extremely important meeting at my job has been rescheduled to 10:00 tomorrow and I probably won't be home till around 2:30. I have arranged for someone to be there to sign for them but will they be ok till I get home in their container? The person that will be signing for them has absolutly zero experience acclimating to anything of the sorts.

The list of inverts include: 10 drawf blue leg hermits, 10 astraea turbo snails, 5 nassarius snails, 12 drawf red tip hermits, 10 cerith snails, 1 lettuce green sea slug, 1 short spine urchin, and 5 electric blue hermits. I am really concerned about them and I do not want to come home to a box of dead livestock :-\ so what do ya'll think I hould do and will they be ok for a few more hours in the container? Thanks guys for you quick responses

They'll be fine, they never make it to my house until later in later in the day for the most part. Important thing is to just keep the box out of extreme weather, like you're doing. Wait until you see how great LA's packaging is. They'll be fine for much longer than that, that being said, get home as soon as you can;)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
They will most likely be fine if not left out in the elements.
