LiveAquaria Experience?

Thier prices are a bit more expensive, however that being said they provide excellent products. I've ordered alot from them in the past due to the problem of finding an honest and realiable LFS. I've had one loss out of I think 30 animals, clean up crew and a few fish. I called their 800 number and had money transfered back into my account within the hour.

I've never bought coral from them, but everything else is A+

they are the only place to buy fish online. i've ordered several clean up crews from them. also did a butterfly tank and recieved all the fish in excellent condition. they cost more but are well worth it. i'm all for lfs but if you're buying 2 or 3 fish usually you would come out ahead by ordering from liveaquaria. the shipping is the main expense but the fish itself is usually cheaper than you'll find in any store. also if you have a buddy do an order and split the shipping. nothing but praise for this company and your lfs won't give you a 15 day guarentee. i even got a few bubble corals, brains, and mushrooms from them and they were all fine.

 

Always had a good experience with them and when I had a fish DOA they refunded the $$ (minus shipping of course) with no questions asked - good company and great customer service!

 

I ordered from them once and was happy with it. I had a star fish die on me within a couple days and they refunded me with LITERALLY no questions asked. I could have made the whole thing up for all they know!

 

i ordered my two oscellaris clowns and some chromis off of their. my tank went through some harsh stuff when i was gone on vacation. i was surprised to see the majority of chromis alive (6/8) and both my clowns. still alive after traveling on a plane and then surviving harsh conditions for the next week. they have some pretty hardy things. i would recommend them.

 

I can't say enough good things about this company. I've been ordering from Drs D+S for roughly seven years and Live Aquaria for about two.

I have ordered corals from them a handful times with excellent results. They came healthy, nice colors, polyps extended, and survived. My favorite place to order by far. Never had a problem, though.

I also order from Drs F+S a lot. I have had some damages and mixed up orders, but their customer service takes care of it soo fast it's insane. They covered damaged items and reshipped them to me for free. They even sent me extra items I didn't order one time, and just told me to keep it instead of take time out of my day to resend the items..

A+++ for Drs D+S and Liveaquaria!!!

 

I order from them without worry all the time.

I have had DOA's and a couple dead before the 14 day period critters, and DFS/ LA was always on the ball and refunded me my $$ for those issues.

I have been on their coral / aquaculture tour, and I saw as vivid of colors as what is portrayed, in both coral and fish. I can't speak about the in person colors of the California shipped fish because I have not seen their facility there, but I have several of their critters from California and they all look great.

I like this thread. I think I may order from them sometime. As it's probably easier to do that than drive 30 min one of the lfs

 

Interesting, much of what has been written agrees with my experiences...We've been buying from them for the past 2 years, both supplies and livestock. We have not had any reason to return any purchase. All live stock arrived in good shape.

 

Awesome guys. Thanks for the input, you have swayed me to buy the fish...now I just have to find the money! Keep giving me your input, I always need more information.
