OK, I have scratched the side of my brand new 90 gallon tank with a piece of liverock. It happened so fast I didn't even realize it until I saw the big old ugly scar ::) Is there something you can place on the back wall of the tank when stacking liverock to keep it from getting all scratched up? It appears to me that when you move the rock and it touches glass a scratch starts to form and there's nothing you can do about it.
How about it? Are there any rock stacking pros out there that can offer me some advice. TIA
    Jim

I dont know if this advice is useful or not. But ....
One way is to put those protective sheeting used for touch sensitive electronic devices. A layer would protect the tank glass. Might be expensive. Another is to put a thin glass at the back of your tank so when LR hit the tank wall the glass will prevent scratching.
These ideas may not be the best though. Anyone else want to help Diver_1298?
