Liverock Curing

I got cured rock and LR confused. My B. It's probably because my LFS sells the cured rock as live so I'm used to it.

 

That's exactly what I'm talking about, Jeff.

I'm not kicking anyone for not knowing better, but one thing this hobby doesn't need is a rash of greedy *****s trying to redefine something for the sake of turning a 120% profit into 500%+ just because they're selling the rocks wet instead of dry like they bought them.

And yes, I've seen it, too. That's why I brought it up.

 

IMO you don't want to take shortcuts with this hobby. If you want to make money buy high quality live rock. Get your tank going with it and then when you have time/money start producing your own live rock from your tank. At least this way there is no question about the quality of the rock and you will be in control of your own results instead of guessing with someone else's product. I know its tough to wait if you don't have the funds but at least you will be satisfied once you get what you really wanted from the start.
