    What do you mean by go oceanic? if you mean just do water changes then that I can do lol. As for my pump its the one for the biocube; has 250 gph

    oceanic is a salt brand.
    only 8x turnover, for coral you need at least 30 to be safe.

    ahhh I see. I knew oceanic was a salt brand but I just didnt know what you meant. I'm assuming its better then reef crystals? and what pump can i get then?

    Hydor Koralia Nano Circulation Pump/Powerhead
    Size 425
    2 of them you will have 37GPH, it's better if you don't want to dose stuff.

    it says 240 gph...? so im assuming you'd recommend oceanic systems salt right? Im also assuming you use it yourself? and as for the pumps cant I just use my oceanic pump with a koralia?

    no there is a 425gph, gotta use drop down. I use oceanic myself, you should see a pic of my chalice coral. Add up all the pumps you can use. I like koralia better imo.

    I'll hold a poll for the salt, although I think both are just as good. As for the pumps I guess I can use my oceanic with the 425 gph; makes sense since it looks like it would provide pretty good flow combined either way. Can't wait to get started on this!

    Well about how much gph should I have in my tank? like should it be 700, 800, 900, something around there?
