My 75G is done! (minus the sump 30g and cycling) so kinda done** I plan on having a reef tank, so I think the first two fish I want might be a problem form what Ive read about them, also I know almost no types fish, so any suggestions would be great!

These are the fish that have caught my eye and id like to be in the mix, if possible!

    Copperband Butterflyfish
Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish - I love this fish, my tank cant fit it right? :(
    Flame Angelfish

You are right about your choices being problematic.

Firefish, Chromis, Dottybacks (can be very territorial), small wrasses, Basslets, Blennies, gobies, Cardinals, Clowns, Damsels and Jawfish are all good candidates for your tank.

Check here for a few ideas.

Both of those will butterfly fish wil fit but the copperband is a little smaller, you just need to pick one or the other. Also the flame angel might pick at whatever corals you decide to get once the tank is set up and everything.

So should I just stay away from the butterflys? Have you had any experience with them?

I have not had experience, but I do know that they tend to be specialized feeders which can make keeping them alive difficult.

From what I've read the long nose butterfly fish is hardier and easier to get eating.
I just did a lot of reading about it and the CBB. A 75 is supposed to be fine for the longnose.

butterflys will destroy a reef and overfeed the flame angel and you should get away with it i dont take chances seeing all the money i put into my tank and if my rocks werent epoxyed down i might take a chance on a angel but every fish is different you might get lucky

from my experience, I have not had many losses luckily in my SW keeping. One of them was a Copperband that died of starvation. They are def finnicky eaters. I even made sure it was eating at the LFS but it still didn't survive. Very shy fish also which can play a part in them not getting enough food if in a tank full of piggies.

There are lots of fish that would work comfortably in a 75g that 2in10 mentioned, you may be more succesful getting ones that are hardier.

    I would highly recommend:

    Banggai Cardinals
    Royal Gramma
    Midas Blenny
Blue Dot Jawfish (if you have tops on your tank)
    Clowns
YT Damsel (if added towards the end)
Flame Hawk (tops are good also for these guys)
Dwarf Angels (can pick but I've had 2, never had an issue with my LPS/Softies)
