So I bought a 95 Oceanic Wave tank. I have a HOB overflow system and leads into a 45 gallon sump/refugium. My general question is what other livestock would do ok with the fish I already have? Right now I have a 65 gallon with only a pair of false perculas, 1 kole tang (small), and a white ribbon eel. Before I get ragged on the tang was recently bought and I've heard they're hard to find in the market so I grab him before anyone else could. The tank is still cycling for a lil while so it's only temp. . (give or take about another 4 months or so) Also before it gets pointed out the white ribbon does fine with smaller fish, inverts and other tank inhabiants. lived with a clown goby in the 65 before I gave the goby away for about a year and never looked his way. SOOOOO back to my question what else sounds like a good idea for this tank? this is going to be a reef tank and most of the corals I'm moving from the 65 to the 95. So any suggestions would do fine!

Do you have a price range? Also are you going reef or FO?

Don't let the tang police scare you! Just make sure they have plenty of room to swim around and don't get into any larger ones.

    I would say the following fish would be happy (if you eel truly is well behaved) in your tank;

    Royal Gramma
    Firefish
    Purple firefish
Many wrasse species such as flasher and 6 line
small angelfish such as coral beauty or flame angel
    Any Blennie or Goby
less agressive Damselfish such as blue/green chromis (good schooling fish)
    Cardinal fish
    a bi-color or Orchid Dottyback

I would search Liveaquaria and find what you like to look at. Read their description of their personality and reef capability and then make the call. Happy hunting!

Price isn't so much a problem for me since I get good deals from my LFS and this is going to be a reef as stated above

I might take up on the schooling fish idea. I love gobies so I'll probably look around for 1 or 2 and i'm pretty sure on my eels behavior because I'm sitting here watching a cleaner shrimp crawl all over him. Best morays in my book.

Also wouldn't the dwarf angels be a problem in a reef tank as I remember? I know some can be trained from what i've been told but, should I honestly risk in your opinion?

Ok so heres what I was thinking for livestock (if possible if any changes need to be made please let me know ASAP) Currently owned 1 white ribbon eel/ghost eel, pair of orcellaris (might get a different pair for 95 because these guys are breeding for a 3rd time so they'll be moved) 1 kole tang. Possible future livestock; 1 6 line wrasse, 1 sailfin blenny, 1 royal gramma and 3 blue reef chromis and a pair of gobies with pistol shrimp (possible?) opinions please and any suggestions.

It sounds like a good mix to me! The dwarf angels CAN nip at corals but so can many speces. They are typically considered reef safe with caution.

Sweet and just kinda worries me. I've heard of them destroying corals but, I think i'll wing it and try. I've seen a dwarf black angel somewhere at one point and looked really nice. What would be my limit? Possibly after the angel and tthat be it right?

IMOPE, dwarf angels can be very well behaved if well fed with the proper diet. I had 3 in a 55g mixed reef tank with no issues at all: a bicolor, coral beauty, and flame angel. They were fed a frozen angel blend with marine sponge, kelp, mysis and brine, with chopped clam, squid and krill mixed in.
