this is why you see people putting tangs in 40 gallon tanks because of lack of research.

I think he has alot of option too. but my point is to make the proper selection.

fyi..You can have a blenny and a goby together in your tank if you wanted. I personally loved my algae blenny (he jumped though:( ) Had him with my Orange spot goby for a while. Very unique personality however algae blennies lack in the cool color department.

    Bicolor blennies are nice.

i think many people at one point in the hobby have an overstocked tank. i used to have my yellow tang in a forty but after i got him i upgraded to a 90 and just put him in there. its not always a case of ignorance but many times it is when it is extremely excessive.

dartfish are gobies, its like with mandarins. they are gobies but they classify them as a different species at all the fish stores

I have an LFS close to my house that swears up and down a 40 is big enough for a yellow tang. I still wouldn't get one though, he's Judy trying to make a buck. I'm glad yall said blenny are good with gobies! I like bi color blennies and Midas blennys. I've heard bi color's tend to nip at corals. Anyone have any knowledge on either of those fish?
