    Taste for corals has nothing to do with it its all about natural instinct and one generation in a tank will not wipe out millions of yrs of inbred instinct from the wild .

    Are our captive-bred species reef safe?
    Unlike their wild-caught counterparts, captive-bred species will not pick on corals or other reef organisms. They did not grow up on a reef and therefore do not make reef organisms a part of their diet. Many if not most of our fish are sold to hobbyists who keep them in reef tanks. No problems have ever been reported.

    Hard to really say that for sure... Fish are animals and all animals have instinct for survival. Meaning they will eat whatever they can, however you can try to avoid this by training them but if you arnt consistant they will follow there instinct.
