    Still alive- has been for 5 hours since I found him. Has a hard time righting himself but remains on his back/side for periods when he falls. I keep trying to right him and sometime he stays upright.

    If i was you i wouldt try to mess with him, maybe hes molting and if so dont mess with him cause that will cause more stress.
