I have one, debilius reef lobster, I keep one in my reef tank, does not bother any of the fish, nocturnal though, don't expect to see him a lot during the day time unless you really luck out and he takes to a cave that you can see from the front. You can make one of these and if you put him in the tank next to it he will go for the cave and stay there. Will eat scraps of uneaten food and scavange. Never boths any of the gobies or my melanurus that sleeps in the sand.

ok I had one of these for about six months and NEVER saw him. The only way I knew he was there was a half of a fish floating around every now and then. (2 chromis and a fire fish) They tend to do ok if fed but they eat like pigs and that just pollutes the tank.

they are reef safe but they will grab a meal if they can so if any fish are sick i would take it out and put it in a hospital tank before the lobster makes a go at it. i thought about getting one but decided against it because they are supposed to hide 90% of the time.

We have this one in our 85 and we have had him for aout a year now. We are now starting to see him alot more cause he is getting bigger and cant hide so easy. this pic is when we first got him and he was not very colorful. I have not seen him go after any fish really. But other shrimp. he is territorial. But everyone loves to look in the back and see him. He has been coming to the front and staying low. It's not worth the money at first but if he makes it a while he will be worth it. Maybe I can get a new pic of him to show off his colors.
