    Indeed!
He's worked at the fish store for a few years and is pretty much in charge of their reef tanks up there. They all look awesome. (I can only imagine how nice it would be to build a tank using the stores money and not your own lol!)

I know the feeling! My LFS had an empty 400g cube and I really wanted to help building it! They wouldnt have to pay me either! LOL Looks amazing now.

My sand is hard to look at.. Should I be worried about fixing this or is it a normal part of having a new tank post cycle, and just let it run its course?

My friend told me to run my fingers through the sand and mix it up a bit. First pics are before I did this, then after, and the last pic is the fuge sand.

Edit: I ordered some chaeto from reefcleaners. I used RO/DI water, Tropic Marin salt, and my flow is koralia 1400, and two 700's, with about 200 gph through the sump. (so about 3000)

My next purchase with either be reactors for GFO and carbon. Or new light bulbs. Which is more important (should I do first)

it looks like diatoms and should go away but you can put more flow tword the bottom and see if that helps or even sphion it out if it is really driving you crazy.

how old are your light bulbs?
