What GPH is that overflow? I have a 75 and im looking at their 700 one for mine with 2 returns on the corner of the tank.

btw tanks looking great! I literally had this same tank in design since march, same over flow, skimmer, etc. Its awesome that you are doing this so i can use it as a reference to get mine where she needs to be. Keep it up!

I got the 700, I like it and it was easy to install, which since it was my first tank that was important lol! Looking back I wish I would have done the beananimal, I saw your post in exactly's 90 thread and thought the same thing as you, that it was a bit overwhelming. I'd think about trying it, but the glass-holes kit works great and isn't very loud

and thank you, that means a lot! I know looking at build threads helped me tremendously when I was planning this, I'm glad you liked it!

For sure man, im on the fences with that or the gh one. Im glad to hear its not loud!! that was my major concern. Ive looked at multiple sources about bean overflows and each time i leave it more and more confused. i guess im the kind of guy that needs to see it done and get hands on before itll get drilled in my head.

Its definiately great to see builds on here, it gives you info that you may overlook, or not look at enough. awesome stuff. Ive just been short on $$$ or my 75 would be right there with yours! keep the updates comin bro.

Ill go ahead and say this site has single handled taught me everything i know about aquariums. Before my 20 gallon i had 0 knowledge about this hobby. Being a year later its amazing to see what Ive learned from here as well as from my tank. I don't even bother talking with ppl at my lfs, apart from nice convo that is. If i have a ? i ask it here first. the combined knowledge on this forum is crazy. People are super chill, unlike other forums where people are all macho and quick to put someone down. i hate it, people are people round these parts and its awesome. if your willing to learn, this place will teach ya, no doubt about it.

I cant wait either! Im sure ill have my overflow and returns ordered either in time or shortly after xmas. IF, and that is a huge if, i learn enough about the bean ill go with it but glass holes overflows are simple and functional. After seeing your tank i honestly could care less because its reassured me that ill be good with it. and i preciate you doing that, even though you had no idea youd be helping me out a lot. lol. cuz ive been researching for this tank since march... and im still going. lol
