Before and after pics. Went from XM 10k to Phoenix 14k. They really aren't as blue as they look in these pics, it looks amazing in person. I read some of the blue burns out after they've been running a few weeks too.

here's a pic with my roommates FOWLR tank lights by my new ones. He's running a blue t8 PC bulb. You can see the white shimmer from the MH's a little better by comparison here.

Yup, Glass-holes has great reputation. Id vouch for them any time.

Thanks for the update pics. Look awesome!! Woot!! for the new goodies as well!!

I dont see the diatom on the rocks, only on the sand? I had literally all over the place...

There is no room for the heater in the sump? and did you get any macro algae?

They never got too bad on the rocks, just here and there. The sand is a different story, most of its covered in it still.

I bought that heater online and didn't realize it was gigantuous! 18" long lol. The water in my sump is only about 10" high.. I'd like to find one that will fit.

Tried to order some chaeto from reefcleaners but it didn't go very smoothly. idk where else to find the stuff, but I'm still trying :p

Have you tried putrid the heater in at an angle or is that still a no go? Oh an for chaeto I would check a local forum, or try and find another local reefer, just get em when they are trimming theirs and you'll probably get it for free

Thanks, doesn't fit any way I angle it though. Kinda a bummer. I've tried craigslist but the only guy selling chaeto is out at the moment, and the LFS says they can't order it. But I'll keep a lookout

Love the rock work. Cameras will take a different color than we see without a lot of white balance.

Thanks John! You've got some of the most beautiful tanks I've seen on this site!
(fyi your 75g planted link in your sig isn't working for me, but I remember looking at it in the past)
