Is it too late for him to CoralRX now?

Logan, do you see any other corals infected by the red bugs?

not that I can see. I bought a magnifying glass today and the tri color acro beside it doesn't have anything visible, although it doesn't have PE, it still has its color. The bottlebrush acro is completely white. The red dots aren't moving, would I be able to see them moving if they were red bugs?

Wish I had a good macro lens camera for this forum! lol

anyways, I need to go buy some CoralRX from the store later. This frag I think is a goner, but I need to dip new corals I get before putting them in the tank.

Testing levels today. I'll edit this when I finish the rest in a few. Been mixing my bi-weekly 8 gallon WC, I'm going to test the levels of the newly mixed saltwater too, never done this before.

    Mag- 1400
    Calcium - 440
Alk - 7 (this drops faster than anything if I don't keep up on dosing)
Nitrates - 0-5ppm. Color is closer to 0
    Ammonia - 0
pH - 7.8 (this is lower than usual as well)
    salinity 1.025

let's say for the sake of argument I'm thinking about getting a hanna checker :p should I get phosphate since I don't have a test for that, or should I get calcium to replace my API, and then buy a salifert phosphate test? Any opinions

Sorry bro, the acro didnt look good to me either in the pic..

In my tank, alk is the only thing that cant catch up with the weekly water change also. Once a week 2 hours after the lights out alk dose is not a hassle for me. Hanna checkers! Im in the same dilemma which kit to get first when it happens :) But the main objective is to get rid of all the liquid tests with Hanna checkers eventually.

Yeah it looks dead to my untrained eye. Just trying to figure out if these are red bugs on it, I took a pic on my friends phone with a magnifying glass, this is the best shot I could get

right click and open in new tab to see it bigger
