Thanks Shin! I'm glad the acan is doing good BC none of the acro frags made it. I'm thinking about getting rid of the leathers to see if the toxins could be the cause of all the rtn

Today was good! Took a vacation day from work to watch college hoops and work on the mesh top for the tank. I did the two sides different, either way I have to make room for the wires/return line.

    Here's what I got done:

This side is flimsier than I'd like it to be because of the spot for wires. The elbows wouldn't fit the other way to close the frame in like I wanted to do.

And this side I just made it about an inch shorter so the return line and wires would fit through

.. but, does this defeat the purpose of having the top? Does anyone have ideas on how to make it better, besides the obvious answer (get an mp40 ;))

Have you tried egg crate? It is easier to mold around return lines, power cords etc. and it's cheap! UInless you can sort of mold the top around the return and wires you are kind of stuck.

I tried to, but the corner pieces only fit in one way, the wrong way :p

I even tried to rig it up by super gluing a piece to it, but it wouldn't hold.

Oh well, I guess it's not that bad.. lol

edit: cut a piece up to make it flat and tried gluing again. Might work this time.

thanks, and I agree. I had eggcrate sitting around, but wanted to do this clear mesh from BRS. I'm happy with it now that I got that last piece glued on. Almost time to go wrasse shopping :p
