    I forgot to mention I got a new fuge light today also. The one I had down there was more or less useless lol. I couldn't find a 6500k but got a 5000k bulb, will that work?

    I don't see why it wouldn't. Isn't the light to pretty much grow your chaeto?

    yup. I had some little PC 18w blue/white bulb combo thing down there before that was my roommates. It was giving off the wrong light spectrum or whatever. Chaeto hasn't grown since I got it lol

    Depends on how long it has been running since a good cleaning.. My SWC Xtreme cone gets super wet for like 2 days then so dry it turns the once light brown liquid into black mud. :p
