Bummer man, sorry to hear about your fish. Definitely looks like some infection from a bump. I would highly not recommend the Christmas wrasse for the reef. +1 for the fairy though =)

I captured some moonlit pictures as best I could. Is it just me or does the rock on the right look like a face?!

 

Update on the Skimmer. Been at 8" for 4-5 days I think

 

Look a lot better IMO. Darker doesn't necessarily do much, as you will likely have the same amount of organics, but it does make emptying the cup and stuff less frequent.

 

I used to see faces everywhere all the time......but then I took an arrow to the knee..

I agree with Andrew, it looks much better! There is no gunk stuck below the neck either (The gunk is not stopping where it shouldnt be. I hope it makes sense).
