Just stressed, the vertical white bars are a good indication; give him time.

Got me thinking, what's the good indications that they are ready to be released into the main?
I really hope the flasher pulls through tho.

Eating well, acting "normal", and most importantly: there's no aggression between the fish in the box and those outside the box, when they approach it.

I see what you mean in the picture! Hopefully he makes it through. On a brighter note the fairy seems to be adjusting well, he's swimming around and looks curious about the tank. I'll update you guys tonight when I get back home.

Wrasses in general, but specifically flashers are huge fakers with the amount of stress they display. If you would have just dumped them in, chances are they would be lying on the sand breathing like they were dying, but come later/tomorrow things should seem much better. I wouldn't sweat it too much, they both look healthy.

I got home about an hour ago the flasher was frozen still, my friend said the fairy chased him around a few times, and every time he got near him he just froze and played dead or w/e. So I put the baffle in the box to divide them and within minutes the flasher was swimming around a little. Hopefully things keep improving tomorrow!

    Heres a quick video.

Yup, they are hanging out. Any aggression from other fish?

Thanks guys! I really like these two a lot.

I had to run off to work about an hour after I got them in the box. When I got home I noticed the clown hanging out under the box the whole time, but not running into it or anything
