I know I was gonna drive around until I found him, lucky he was right there lol! My autotopoff.com stuff came today too, I wasnt expecting it until monday. So I'm good to go with everything but the pH probe!

I still need to find a gaming adapter though, since my wireless router is on the 2nd floor and other end of my house.

Thank you very much! It sure will keep me busy. I have this way of turning an hour project into a frustrating 4 hour job :p

RP stuff is all still alive and well, actually the sps has shown a little growth over the last few weeks

So far so good! The ATO is working, fans are kicking on when they're supposed to. I got rid of a couple power strips under the tank. Still waiting on my pH calibration and I need to order a gaming adapter tonight can't find them locally. So no wireless yet, I hooked everything up by the router via an Ethernet cable before I put it on the tank.

Congrats and looking good, Logan! I was remembering the feeling that I couldnt stop smiling with looking at the sleek Apex display :)

Have you gotten a hold of the unofficial Apex user guide? Im sure you have but I still read it time to time.

Thanks! It really does look nice, and its a relief knowing its taking care of stuff for me! I did print out the guide and put it in a binder lmao. It helped a lot setting it up. The programming really isn't hard to understand, of course I'm just doing basic things with it for now thouh

Got my pH probe calibrated today! Wooo. The gaming adapter should be here wednesday then I'll have the thing online and phone updates. Pretty stoked!

Also picked up this clip on fan from wal mart to hang over the sump

This is what I had before on the back wall, might be overkill to keep both hooked up, we'll see how it goes for a few days. Sure am glad I got the ATO now :p

    20120522_002454.jpg

Current params: (bi-weekly water change was 8 days ago)
    temp - 78.3
    pH - 8.22
    phosphates - 0.0
    dkh - 8.3
calcium - 380 (did my weekly dose after the test, should be 400 now)
didn't test 'trates or mag tonight. too tired!

I think I forgot to mention I brought the gfo back online last WC. I was noticing phosphates creeping as high as .06 between WC's, so I took another look at the reactor. Man did I feel dumb... the slits in the bottom were so clogged in the first chamber, water wasn't flowing through it like it should. Glad to say it's tumbling much more evenly now, and no dust for a week ;D

Thanks! Diamond watchman was my best guess. He's about 4", making a little bit of a mess right now but that was expected lol

Congrats on the Goby, be prepared to rescue your corals on the sand for the goby's work.

^ this is true! lol. I do have fine sand, so he's making a pretty big mess still. I'm hoping this will settle down eventually as all the smallest particles get filtered out. All I have is a 200 micron felt sock from BRS, I put that on the drain in the sump.

(There goes any thoughts of getting a few more open brains for the sand bed though)
