So I'm currently having a new tank built. It will be ready next week. It will be the same dimensions (since the stand is done already)

But this time I get what I want. Black silicone, Eurobracing, open backed, with a coast to coast overflow.

And best of all ... Starphire on the front and sides.

But since I have the old tank sitting in the basement anyway ... and its the same dimensions ... I started playing with an aquascape.

Let me know what you think of the layout I've got so far. I'm definitely open to suggestions. I want to get the scape right ... because once its in there ... its in there lol.

Well I finally made some progress and have something to actually update.

I got my new tank home, and today, I finally got it down into the basement and drilled the holes for the bulkheads.

I meant to take more pictures ... but got caught up in the act of getting it done and forgot until I was finished.

Here is the best I can do for you:

A bit of plumbers putty to keep the water on the bit and keep the glass cool while drilling through it.

And then just some shots of the 1.5" Bulkheads and the 90's for the Beananimal Overflow:

I'll also post the picture of the sump with the 2" Bulkhead for the Reeflo Dart. What a monster!

Coast to coast overflow, bean animal, RapidLED.. very similar to mine, only being done better!!! Im gonna be jealous of everything about this build.

As for the scape, I love it! Are the rocks gonna be epoxy-ed/glued? Happened to take side shots?
