Thanks I'll be sure and try and get more up then!

Thank you very much. I'm quite happy with how the stand worked out, much better than I expected!

I would consider having you build me a custom one if you were interested but I think that you are a bit far from Colorado.

Well I continued on with a bit more plumbing today.

    Here's the photo's

The rest of the standpipes in place:

Ball valve on the return pump

    Standpipes after paint

    return line plus standpipes

    Return Plumbing

This 1" ball valve will eventually lead to a filter sock ... its closed off right now and will be plumbed in after I have the socks in place. I didn't want it on my standpipes in case you wait to long to change them ... and they clog up ... this will prevent that from happening

And the return lines and the loc line

And while this is a horrible photo ... it shows where the tank is set ... and where it will be when all said and done. Still a lot of work to do however

I only looked at the last page.

Nice build. I really like the multiple returns spouts.

Are you going to have doors on the stand?

Very cool man, I copied your stand frame on mine -

On the overflow, just glass and silicone on that? The silicone will hold that long piece of glass in place long term?

Love the woodworking and attention to details. Im building a 125 and am taking my time with details also - its worth it!

OK, I read thru the whole thread.

Love the stand, love the coast to coast.

Ya know, since you had it built, have you seen a c to c overflow on the back/outside of the DT? Cut down the top of the back panel and plumb a box on the outside of the DT.

I've only seen one done this way, and I think it is in a RC thread.

    If/when I do my 125 over/different agian, I'll be doing something similar.

    NIce work on the stand!

    Thanks everyone.

And yes I have seen external coast to coasts. If I do it again ... I'll do it that way. It provides a lot more area in the display.

And yes, the stand will have doors ... they are being built out in the shop right now ... I just haven't had a lot of time to get out there. I figure I have lots of time while the tank is cycling to take care of the doors, and soldering the LED's and so on ...

Really nice looking set-up. Nice, clean layout on the plumbing. Should make for easy maintenance.

Can't wait to see it up and running!
