    Well ok as you guys may know the red slime debocle is finally over and my tank is thriving. Took some test tonite and at a loss of words idk if my tests are broken or what

    Ammonia = .50
    nitrate = 40
    nitrite = 0
    PH = 7.8
    phosphates = 0
    KH = uggggg test is expired
    calcium = 500
    Magnessium = 1240
    sg = 1.024

    Did a 10g water change today, its just wierd if these tests are accurate then why the hell is all my stuff growing and thriving in my tank. All my corals have just about doubled in size, fish are fat and healthy no signs of absoultely any distress (sailfin,2 occ clowns, watchmen goby), 6 diff corals ranging from mushrooms to chalice. Maybe im just freaking out but the ammonia is scarign me badly. Let me know what you guys thinks

    Maybe its just what you said, bad test kits. I would get a 2nd opinion before doing anything else.

    3 months old, you shouldnt have any NH3 in your system at this point. No3 is normal, but not Nh3.

    What kind of a filtration system do you have?

    Are you using any spray cleaners on or near your tank?
