Hi all I recently bought a yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp paired from Lfs. Once entering the tank the shrimp darted under a rock haven't seen him in 2 Dayan idk if he is eating or not...

The YWG is under another rock and I've sen him eat I moved the small rock the shrimp was under and found his molt or skin from molting but still no signs of him....

Only other tank mates are very small Scarlett hermits some snails and 2 paired clowns.

I havent heard any clicking from him yet just hoping he's okay is there a chance he is just totally buried and will still be okay I'm really hoping he can make his way back to his goby buddy

If he made it they'll meet back up. Look for pushed up sand you'll see that before you hear him pop.

If he molted then he is hiding until his exoskeleton gets hard. Then he should reemerge.

Mine likes to stay in the live rock. Not sure why.
