Well last night i put on my lights for the Fuge and noticed that on one of of LR i saw like long hair/tentacles coming out of it...i tryed to take pics but was really hard of a angle. Anybody know what it can be....it almost looks like string. After a while they all disappear.

    thanx

Some type of filter feeding worm of some sort... if it's in your Fuge i would'nt stress over it.. Just more all natural filteration.....

    Best of luck....

I have something very similar in my main tank. They are usually in different places, so they must be able to move, but they put out a long (6" or so) string with feathery fingers on it. It is usually in pairs and they retract, I assume to pull the food off, and then re-deploy. They usually stop after a while. I can never get a clear visual on exactly what the strings come out of, but since they move around, and the strings don't seem to be mucosy (sp?) I'm sure they are not vermetid snails.
I am very curious to know what these things actually are.

There are lots of types of worms and hydroids and stuff that match that description. You would need a picture I think to get a better ID.

Vermatid snails I think they are
they send out those long web threads to catch particles of food and then reel them back in
