I am thinking about adding one of these. Oxycirrhites typus

Do they eat snails? I'm reading mixed reports on it... I don't want a fish that'll eat my snails.

I have a ton of copepods since loosing my wrasse and thinking it'll eat those.

I have 55 gallon with a pair of O clowns, bicolor blenny, and a coral beauty.

Since I replaced my lights, the last of my algae went away (it was never very much) so I'm thinking I can handle the bio load pretty easily. Figure another fish will give my urchin and snails more to eat indirectly ;)

I have read they eat snails, crustaceans, etc. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I did read up quite a bit on them because I thought about getting one.

IME they will pick at the snails that are laying with the opening of their shell facing upwards like the ones that drop from the glass to hide once the daytime comes around. I never saw him getting ones that were awake and crawling around. Mine mainly just dominated my hermits.
