Alright everyone, I guess I have more choices. I might get the tank customized. These are the choices:

    72x24x24
    or
    60x30x24
    or
    50x27x27

Hahahaha, Have I seen that too many time???? lol.

My personal preference would be for the 72x24x24. But, if you're going custom why not get long and deep? :) Also, if you have a big enough sump you can put a lot of rock in there to avoid the rock wall look.

    60x30x24, for sure. Best compromise.

I've had a 60x18x26 for nearly 3 years now, and I'm sick of the lack of depth in the tank. My new soon-to-be-transferred-over tank is 60x27x27.

Don't get me wrong, I love the long 72". I can only imagine tangs would enjoy it. But at the same time, I am not too sure if 24 would be enough space for rock aquascaping. Well, if I have more money, I would definetely go with 72x30x24. ;D

Yup, I have that 18 dept tank, it's pretty narrow. ;D 60x27x27 is nice, but you don't think it's pretty high?

Only an inch taller than what I have; not much difference to me. Ideally I'd like 24", but I don't really think 3" matters much besides having a bit more volume.

Make sure the stand for a 30" tank will fit through your house door. ;)

How about 76x20x24? LOL, more choice. 76 is a very nice length, but 20 inches width??? hmmmmmmmm:confused::confused:

True. Well, if I get 60x30x24, then I'll flip to the 24 inches to pass my door.;D

Wow, 36 wide? You better make sure you can reach to the back. LOL
