long skinny creature in my marine setup with little legs

    hey all, i was looking at my fish just before and i notices a long hitchiker he has little tiny legs and is about 2cm long....i think it has came out of my live rock.....i dont know if it is going to cause any problems as i dont know what it is....what does everyone think it is? or could be? he doesnt seem to be hassling my fish just swimming around realy fast,.......any ideas?


    its to hard to take a pic of him he is so small and moves so fast

    What color? Is it bug like or fish like? Can you compare it to some thing other than "its long and swims?"

    heya.....its like a bug(long and skinny with over 15 legs per each side of it....i dont know what i can compare it to.....its colour is a white/creamy colour

    I had one of those!!! I know what you are talking about!
    They look like ailen face hugger, with like 10 legs on left and right, with a long skinny tail.
    Like 10 of them came with when i bought zoa, but thankly i found them in my zoa bag while being floated. So i grabbed the zoa and just shoot them off and put it in tank. So I have no idea if they are reef safe or not.

    I may be an Epitoke but the ones I see are only about 1 cm long unless there other types, I get them too every now and then but usually I only see them after lights out, if they tried it during the day they'd get eaten pretty quick.

    A pic would be great, its always cool to see something new.
