Does anyone know what this growing on anemone, and how to get rid of it, it almost looks like a fungus. wasnt there last night, and anemone is all shriveled up and doesnt look good at all. all water parameters are are were there are suppose to be. plenty of lighting. have 3 domino damsels, decorator crab, coral banded shrimp, clown fish, 2 coral beauties, turbo snails, hermit crabs, and few other damsels. i currently moved anemone into the back up tank.

That isn't a fungus or disease, its the foot or base of the Nem, its just all shriveled up becasue the Nem is close up tight.
How long have you had it? How long has your tank been set up? And what kind of lighting do you have? LT Nem's pretty much need pristine water and an older established tank with at least T5 lighting to be happy, anything less and they tend to die.

Gazog is right i have gone through so many nems over the years because i couldn't wait.
lighting is a very important thing for a nem as well as perfect water quality.
do you feed the nem or does it get fed at all?

sorry to say but that nem is DONE. that is the foot dying. there is very little chance it will come back from something like this. you can do yourself a favor and getting it out asap. it will smell TERRIBLE, prob making you gag, when its out of the water.

thats my .02c from experience and research.

Anemone Ann was to young to go. You will be missed, you were great and so full of life. May you be reincarnated as a clown fish so you can be obnoxiously irritating as nimo has been to you.
