Got it less than 24 hrs ago and is still on its side and had only moved a few inches and is now stuck to the glass at the bottom of the tank. Is this normal?

Thanks I'm just worried because I spent $50 on him and its the most ive spent on one thing. Aside from my 40 lbs of live rock.

its normal to have long tent anemones stuck at the bottom glass or at the base of a rock. Just keep good lighting and a nice current and spot feed it. I usually recommend having a anemone six months after a tank has been setup to make sure everything is matured. But that's my opinion ;)

he will move when hes ready. Maybe hes happy where hes at now. But eating is a big plus. I have 2 and they seem to just move until their happy.
