As the title says, I've been lurking around here for awhile but only recently started posting. Wanted to say hi and official introduce myself.

I started my first salt water tank about 2 years ago. I had a 50 galling mixed reef, with mostly soft corals, and a few fish. I was pretty successful with it, so yearly this year, I decided to upgrade.

I designed a built a new 125 gallon system. It's been up and running now for just about two months. and this is the result:

Your tank looks very nice so far! Bet you cant wait till some of your corals will grow completely out on your live rock, it would look amazing! Beautiful fish too, good job. This tank looks like it has a great future :)

Thank for the kind words - we are pretty proud of it :)

it is hard to wait. :)

I'm doing my best to resist the urge to just fill the tank with new things and instead trying to take things slowly. We've added a few fish the mix from the previous tank and a sparingly few new corals. but other than that, it's mostly just what came out of the old 50 gallon

thank you, but I cant take all the credit - my wife did most of the rock work :)

Thats some wise words! :) I also prefer to not stock with livestock to quickly, since it might just get the tank downhill. Corals wont hurt as much though :) But this tank looks great!
