Long time no post lol

Just wanted to give a quick hello and happy holidays to everyone. I know I have been very absent but keep on mind I'm working two jobs now. Funny story my mother in law got arrested yesterday. It was the best Christmas gift I could have gotten bahahaha she was at our house screaming and refused to leave so she was arrested it was beautiful. Anyway the cop was looking at my tank for aboü five min so I asked if he wanted me to turn on the lights do he could stop shining his flashlight into it and he asked me if I woe help him set up a sw tank after Christmas hahaha how could I say no!!!! So I guess I will be getting a surprise visit from the police for a aquarium set up mission hahaha. It was a weird night. Anyway the tank is doing good and everything is growing like crazy also since I have started working at the pet store we have "adopted" an iguana a mouse ( someone brought him in because her neighbors were trying to run him over for fun) and tomorrow we are bringing home the bearded dragon that was dropped off in a box outside the store in terrible condition ( and he's mean as hell too lol) but oddly enough I have added nothing to my 120 gallon baby. At his rate I'm too to have a zoo. And to think I only wanted the tank and my two dogs lol. What can I say I'm a sucker especially for abused animals. Anyway just wanted to say high and let everyone know I'm still in the game just working my butt off (over 75 hours this past week ) and I hope everyone and there wet babies are doing great!!!

This is fievel we know nothing about him except he was almost run over and that he's very sweet lol we just brought him home yesterday. Not expected lol

And this is Blackbeard the bearded dragon that's coming home tomorrow. My fiancé loved him the moment he saw him so we are just finishing up his new home for him to come home with us.

Thanks Mr. Bill. Hopefully these are the last new babies for a very long time haha unless they are wet babies of coarse. I honestly don't think I have anymore room in my house for anymore tanks or enclosures. Between the 120 that's hopefully soon going to be a 300 gallon the 75 for the beardie and the 8 foot tall enclosure we are building for the ig idk how we are going to walk around in this big old house haha.At least the mouse only needs a ten gallon lol

 

I know this isnt the place but uh... I highly recomend you put that mouse in a wire cage. Ive been keeping rats and mice for years. The problem with glass fish tanks for mice and rats is that

A. They cant climb. Even with the add ons it's not enough.

B. Ammonia builds up inside of the tank because there's no ventilation in there. Ammonia build up leads to respitory problems.

It's none of my business but I highly recomend just a small little cage for your furry friend.


On the fishy side.... 300g?!?! I wanna see that build thread.

Actually only planning on keeping him over night and putting an ad up to find him a good home but once again my fiancé fell on love and it's christmas so I couldn't say no haha. And I will hopefully be starting tht thread soon after the new years. It will either be a 220 or a 300. It's going to depend on how big of a new dinning room table we get lol.
