long worm like thing

    Can't really tell from the pics, but likely a bristleworm. Google that & see if that's it.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    If it returns to the coral or you see it there often I would remove it if you can and get a macro image. Is it irritating the goniopora?

    in the pic, it looks darker than your typical bristleworm, but there are a few variations out there that can make it into our tanks...
