Well, I fed the rods for the first time today, I expected more excitement from the fish. My angel didnt even look at it, and the butterflies picked certain parts and spit the others out. The clown ate everything lol. Will they eat it more as they get used to it? I hope it's because it's just a new food....

Found some mussels too! I have yet to try them. I couldn't find cockles though lol, weird name

 

The butterflies went nuts for mussels!! I opened some up, ripped some insides out and froze the pieces to feed later, is this okay? And can I use any part of the mussel's insides? Also, can I freeze whole mussels, thaw, cut parts out, then freeze again? Thanks!

Yup I did!! I hope they start taking more of the rods, I can't feed them mussels and mysis every day.

I think cockles are some kind of shellfish? Maybe? Haha

 

Just wanted to let you guys know, he looks better 2 days on his new diet. Only a little bit, but it will come in time His coloring looks better too, but this could be from my new ATI bulbs. Glad it isn't (I think) HLLE!!
